Basic dry rub

Ingredients:

4 tbsp      light brown sugar

4 tbsp      smoked paprika 

2 tbsp      coarse salt

1 tbsp      ground black pepper

2 tsp        garlic powder

2 tsp        onion powder

1 tsp        cumin

1 tsp        cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix till combined. Tip: dry rub can be stored up to 6 months.
  2. Massage meat with dry rub and cook. Optional: Cover meat generously in mustard to use as a binder and cover with dry rub.
