bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers

Ingredients:

12                          Jalapenos 

1 package            Bacon

6 oz.                      Cream Cheese (softened)

4 oz.                      Shredded Cheddar Cheese 

2 Tablespoons    Chives (fine chop)

1 teaspoon          Garlic Powder 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and dry Jalapenos. Once washed cut each pepper in half and carve out seeds.
  2. In a medium bowl add cream cheese, shredded cheese, chives, and garlic powder. Mix until combined.
  3. Use a spoon to put cream cheese mixture into each jalapeno pepper. Cut bacon strips in half and wrap bacon around each cream cheese filled jalapeno.
  4. Place each popper on a cookie sheet. Cook in oven for 15-20 minutes or until bacon reaches desired crispiness. Enjoy!
